The IIT-EU alumni association was created in August 2005 to network and coordinate IIT alumni living in Europe. The founding members of the IIT-EU have been living in Europe for several decades and have established their credentials in the European industry. It has its headquarters in France, and has local chapters around Europe.
Established as institutes of academic excellence, the IITs have become synonymous with world-class technology and engineering education in India.
Apart from the globally renowned faculty and quality of education, the diversity of students in terms of socio-economic background, culture, language and religion gives IITians a unique advantage - the ability to thrive in this fast globalizing economy. Alumni of IITs lead some of the world's most prestigious companies, as well as non-profit organisations.
The IIT EU Alumni Association would like to provide a forum for facilitating collaboration of industry and academia in Europe and India. To ensure an efficient and fruitful exchange, we’re inviting European and Indian industry leaders and scholars to meet during 3 successive events spaced 3 months apart

The first event consists of visits to several IITs of key European industries having strong R&D credentials presenting what they project as technical growth areas with emphasis on R&D for next 5 years. Students and faculty at the IITs will have an opportunity to explore technical areas as well as pursue potential future collaborations. |
