Annual International Conference 2008  

of the IIT EU Alumni Association


 

EUROPE-INDIA INDUSTRY & UNIVERSITY COOPERATION  

Partnership for Technical Education & Business Innovation

RWTH Aachen University, GERMANY

Recently arrived students for masters in Germany and France were having a conflict of schedule with their crash language  classes. As one of the prime objectives of the conference is to help them find openings in Euro-Indian industry for masters and PhD projects, we have decided to reschedule the conference

We are putting up presentations which were planned by our speakers at the conference below

PLANNED AGENDA 

Industrial and academic participants will exchange information on their future requirements, and on current work in research laboratories, in the course of a) workshops and panel discussions, b) networking/partnering sessions, and c) a poster exhibition. During the Workshop Sessions, Panelists will give short talks followed by a general discussion. During the Partnering Sessions, industrial projects, to be driven jointly by universities and industry engineers, will be set up. The Poster Exhibition will offer opportunities for one-to-one meetings to foster career development. General overviews and summaries will be covered during Plenary Sessions. The Conference Language is English. 

In keeping with the main objectives of the Conference, high priority will be given to topics concerning the technological infrastructure of India, such as Energy and Transportation. Novel pathways for science and technology in achieving progress in spite of such global challenges as Environmental Pollution, Water Scarcity, and Natural Disasters faced by Megacities and Rural Regions will be explored.
